SUMMARY:AAID Annual Conference 2021: Implant Competency
DESCRIPTION:70th Annual Conference in Chicago\n Pursuing Implant Competency\nNovember 10-13, 2021\n\n Previous\n Next\nZERAMEX & Emerginnova will be exhibiting as one of the sponsors!\n \n Click here to register\n \nAbout the Event\n \n \nFor 70 years…\n…the AAID has gathered talented and strong-minded individuals to collaborate, educate, and elevate one another’s practices to optimize patient care.\nAAID is excited to bring the annual conference back in-person to Chicago. But creating a safe environment is their key concern, which is why the Annual Conference will be a hybrid event (in-person and online) November 10 to 13, 2021. \nThe theme, Pursuing Implant Competency, will focus on four key elements:\n\nMentoring Transformations\nNavigating Complications\nGlobal Perspectives\nClinical Innovations\n\nWhile this one event provides you with implant-focused education and opportunities to interact with your peers and vendors from around the world, you have two options to participate. \nYOU CHOOSE whether to attend in-person or virtually:\n\nCome to Chicago for a safety-enhanced, traditional conference experience, or\nConnect with us online for the same main podium content, virtual-only extras, and the convenience of attending from anywhere. \n\nThe AAID is monitoring the current situation and diligently following the safety guidelines put in place by our venue, the city of Chicago, and the state of Illinois. We are consulting with our partners and continually updating best practices for our event, which could potentially include social distancing/reduced capacities, masking, daily temperature checks and/or proof of vaccination.\n Virtual Experience\n Implant Expo\n Safety Practices for In-Person Attendance\n Virtual Experience\nVirtual attendance means you can experience the conference without the travel and create a learning path that is more flexible. The conference is truly your own experience. You will have access to:\n\nAll main podium presentations which will be live-streamed\nAdditional sessions and lectures as well as on-demand content\nVirtual-only content\nEnjoy the sessions at your own pace, with recordings available through November 30th. (Extended access through February 28, 2022 is available for an additional fee.)\n\n Implant Expo\nOur Implant Expo will have double the opportunities for interaction this year! The exhibit hall in Chicago will offer our on-site attendees the chance to explore products, resources, and information relevant to their patients’ needs. Virtual attendees can visit these same booths online, and both audiences will have the chance to engage with our vendors before and after the meeting for extended interaction.\nIf you are interested in exhibitor and sponsorship opportunities, please download our Prospectus.\n Safety Practices for In-Person Attendance\nWhile it is too soon to know the specific infection control measures that will be needed in November, the AAID is monitoring the evolving situation and guidelines put in place by our venue, the City of Chicago, and the State of Illinois. We are consulting with our partners and continually updating best practices for our event.\n\n\nThe AAID planning team is working closely with our host venue to monitor local infection rates and expected capacity limits in Chicago. AAID’s plans will be in response to this data, as well as guidance from the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC).\n\n\nThe Hyatt Regency Chicago ensures guests and attendees are protected with extensive protocols for cleaning, distancing, and food service. Click to read Hyatt’s Commitment to Care & Cleanliness.\n\n\nAs details are added to our on-site plan, they will be posted to our Duty of Care ( https://www.eventscribe.net/2021/AAID-Annual/aaStatic.asp?SFP=S0RYQ1BVV0tAODAxMA ) page. \n\n\n Schedule & Speakers\nThe AAID’s 70th Annual Conference, Pursuing Implant Competency, will be held at the Hyatt Regency Chicago, November 10-13, 2021.\nTentative speakers for this event include:\nMentoring\nDr. Duke Heller/Dr. Rob HellerDr. Arnie Weisgold/Dr. Howard FraimanDr. O Hilt Tatum/Dr. Jose Pedroza\nNavigating Complications\nDr. Ramsey AminDr. Frank LaMar, Jr.Dr. Joseph MassadDr. Paul RosenDr. James RutkowskiDr. Len Tolstunov\nGlobal Perspectives\nDr. Fouad KhouryDr. Andre SaadounDr. Tomas Vercelloti\nClinical Innovations\nDr. Jason KimDr. Isaac Tawil\n CE Information\nPlease see below for CE information for both on-site and virtual attendees.\nOn-Site CE Information\nOn-site attendees can earn up to 44 Continuing Education (CE) hours viewing both live events and on-demand Main Podium sessions.
