Course Description
High esthetic standards and increasing disposition to titanium allergies, along with a rising demand for metal-free reconstructions, have led to the proposition of ceramics as potential surrogates. The biomechanical properties of Zirconia implants have been improved and their clinical use has been expanded. The aim of this lecture is to introduce the indications of zirconia implants and to discuss their impact in a clinical concept.
