Dear Colleagues,

Gratitude. It has been my mantra and has filled my heart over the last year as President of WSP. Without a doubt, 2020 has put much into perspective for all of us. It has tested our will, ignited our emotions and divided us as a nation. However, it has also helped bring us closer together as a community. WSP has been a microcosm of the events of this last year – the uncertainties, emotional roller coasters, disappointments and successes. I’m proud of the passionate, intelligent and dedicated people who worked collaboratively to overcome all these challenges, so we could emerge with a stronger sense of purpose and direction that will benefit our entire organization.

The board members and officers of WSP have been incredibly supportive and generous with their time and talent. I am forever grateful for the mentoring and assistance they have given me along the way.

Our members are at the heart of our organization, and we value each and every one of you. We would also like to welcome our newest members of the Rocky Mountain Society of Periodontists. All of you have supported our mission, our corporate sponsors and our virtual and live meetings like never before. I have been surprised and humbled by your consistent attendance during this tumultuous year. You have never waivered in your support for WSP.
