The dean of operative dentistry awarded Dr. Chris a 98% for superior completion of a difficult restorative case-the highest grade ever given a student in his 30 years at Baylor.

As a practicing dentist, Dr. Brady has a thirst for knowledge in order to continue refining his diagnostic and treatment skills. He cares deeply for his patients and always includes them in any decision in treating their mouth.

He recently completed directing, editing, writing, organizing and publishing a second book-“Expert Advice From Dentists Who Genuinely Care About You and Your Health”.  This book is a collaboration of information about leading dental technology, materials, and procedures written by 10 of the top dentist in the U.S.  Because of the explosion of food and material allergies and sensitivities, his chapter addresses the ever increasing need for and emergence of alternative/biological holistic dental care in America and how it can be integrated in modern dentistry.

Dr. Brady and his wife of 35 years,  Charlotte, have 8 children-4 boys and 4 girls-and are the lucky grandparents of 10 and counting!

When Dr. Brady isn’t in the office or teaching he enjoys singing, leading groups of singers, being with his family RV-ing and four-wheeling. When his wife lets him in the kitchen, he makes the best homemade chocolate sauce drizzled over homemade ice cream and loves cooking caliente Mexican food!

Laser Dentistry

Laser dentistry is one of the most advanced areas of dentistry today. With laser dentistry, we can treat a wide variety of conditions in new or improved ways that reduce pain, vibration, noise, and post-operative problems. Laser treatment increases the bond between tooth and filling material for longer lasting restorations. Lasers can stimulate healing in wounds and other soft tissues.

Additionally, lasers can be used for:

  • Teeth whitening

  • Gum treatment

  • Decay removal

  • Various surgical procedures

  • Light curing of fillings, cements and other products.

Laser dentistry benefits include:

  • Preserves healthy tooth structure

  • Reduces leakage of fillings

  • Eliminates the fracturing of teeth caused by drill use

  • Reduces post-operative sensitivity

  • Increases bond strength of filling material

Bottom line. Even though lasers have some limitations, they are always the first choice.
