Are you or a loved one self-conscious about missing teeth? Dental implants could be the perfect solution to your needs. Implants effectively fill the unwanted gaps in your smile due to missing teeth. Dental implants are designed to blend naturally with your other teeth, producing a beautiful smile. Many people choose implants to replace a single tooth or several teeth, or to support a full set of dentures. Implants are posts surgically placed into the upper or lower jawbone. They replace the root of one or more missing teeth. Dental implants are made of titanium (a strong, lightweight metal) and other materials that are well accepted by the body.
It generally takes about six months for the surgical implant to heal before the final installation of the artificial tooth or teeth can be finished.
ALL-ON-4™ DENTAL IMPLANTS
If you wear dentures or are headed in that direction the “All-on-4™” dental implant method may be perfect for you. For the All-on-4™ method you do not need a dental implant for each and every one of your missing teeth. All you need is four precisely placed implants on the top of your mouth and four on the bottom to restore your full smile. That is the beauty of the All-on-4™ method. Since the implant is made of titanium, it has the unique ability to fuse to living bone and function as part of it. Eventually, the dental implant becomes part of the jawbone and serves as a strong, long-lasting foundation for your implant.
