Dr. Laurence is a member of the International Academy of Ceramic Implantology (IAOC). Ceramic implants have revolutionized the field of dental implantology and perform as well as titanium and titanium alloy implants. Dr. Laurence recently returned from the 2017 IAOC meeting in Miami, Florida where the most current and advanced methodologies for metal-free ceramic implantology were presented. In addition to the obvious esthetic benefit, metal-free ceramic implants may be particularly suitable for patients who are immunocompromised or have chronic health conditions. Increasingly, patients are asking for metal-free options in implant dentistry and Dr. Laurence can provide those options.
