LYNN DENTAL CARE

Metal-Free, Ceramic Dental Implants
In addition to providing traditional titanium dental implants, we can also place holistic ceramic implants. We use Nobel Biocare™ NobelPearl™ two-piece ceramic dental implants when you want a metal-free alternative to replacing missing teeth. The ceramic implant gives you a natural aesthetic look, which is beneficial to those with thin gum tissue, as it looks like natural bone. We are able to use these implants to replace everything from single to multiple missing teeth with the same results as traditional titanium implants.

DENTAL IMPLANTS

At Lynn Dental Care, we can replace individual missing teeth, multiple missing teeth, full arch tooth loss and even secure loose dentures with our modern dental implant solutions. When placing dental implants, we always begin with a thorough evaluation of your oral health and discuss your smile goals. Using a cone beam CT scanner (CBCT) we will capture highly detailed images of your mouth and oral structure, showing us levels of jaw bone, location of nerves and surrounding tooth roots. North Dallas Dentist, Dr. Lynn provides his patients with remarkable accuracy with X Nav Technology for dental implant placement. The CT data along with this technology will plan all the factors of the ideal implant location for success. This allows us to accurately place your dental implants within your jaw without harming surrounding structures.

IV SEDATION

IV sedation provides stronger and more adjustable results than oral sedation and is frequently used for surgical procedures. During IV sedation, relaxation drugs are administered directly into the patient’s bloodstream. Patients should be aware that they will need to arrange transportation if they are undergoing IV sedation. There may be a short period of disorientation or grogginess as the IV sedation fades. It is not safe to drive or operate machinery the next morning. It is also important to understand that IV sedation in North Dallas, TX, is not pain relief medication; a local anesthetic is used as necessary to eliminate pain.

GUM DISEASE

Gum (periodontal) disease is an infection of the bone, teeth and gum tissues that affects millions of Americans. With proper oral care, gum disease is easily preventable and during the beginning stages of gingivitis, can be cured. Once gum disease has progressed to periodontitis or advanced periodontitis, it can no longer be cured, but only maintained with routine deep cleanings. At Lynn Dental Care, our dental team and board-certified periodontist have over 38 years of experience in diagnosing, treating and preventing gum disease through effective procedures like osseous surgery and minimally invasive LANAP® laser care.

PERI-IMPLANTITIS

Peri-implantitis is a condition where a dental implant and the tissues surrounding it become infected, which can eventually lead to the failure of the implant itself. When an implant fails, you will need to have the area treated for disease and another implant placed. This is a pricey and time-consuming result of a condition that is easy to prevent with proper oral care.

DENTAL CROWNS

Dental crowns are ceramic caps that cover teeth, restoring both normal biting and chewing function along with the aesthetic look of beautiful teeth. We often usedental crowns to restore teeth that have been treated by a root canal  or for patients who received dental implants and need to restore the implant itself. Our dental crowns are designed to mask imperfections or give your smile a seamless, natural look that can last for many years.

DENTAL BRIDGES

Dental bridges are made up of multiple crowns that are secured together to span the gap of missing teeth. Dental bridges can be used to replace one, multiple, or even a full arch of missing teeth. With a dental bridge, you will be able to bite and chew properly again and the aesthetics of a complete smile will be restored. Dental bridges are often attached to supporting abutment teeth but implant supported bridges can also be created to replace multiple teeth.
