Teeth Whitening

The foods and drinks we consume can take their toll on the color and complexion of our teeth. Years of enjoying morning cups of coffee and evening glasses of red wine can rob even the healthiest of smiles of a little luster. Fortunately, patients who enjoy good oral health that want to restore the shade of their smile to a lighter color have the option of undergoing teeth whitening treatments. The most popular and commonly performed cosmetic dentistry treatment in the U.S., teeth whitening offers patients the ability to dramatically change the complexion of their smiles in just a few days.

With our Zoom!™ WhiteSpeed treatment we can provide our patients with a brighter, whiter smile after just one office visit.  Zoom!™ WhiteSpeed whitening offers a safe, effective and convenient way to dramatically improve the color of your teeth from the comfort of our Littleton cosmetic dental office. Once the special whitening gel is applied to the surface of your teeth, we will expose the gel to a high intensity light that will help boost the lightening process. The whitening gel will then extract the stains from the surface of your teeth, making them several shades lighter after just one 45-minute session.

At McGinty Dental Group, we can also provide patients with custom fitted whitening trays that can brighten smiles all from the comfort of your home. To begin the whitening process, our team will take an impression of a patient’s teeth that is used to create custom, clear trays. A follow-up appointment will ensure the trays fit properly and provide our team the opportunity to make any adjustments to the trays as needed. We then provide patients with a whitening solution to use once or twice a day for 15-30 minutes. Getting a whiter smile has never been easier!

Dental Implants

Dental implants act as replacement roots for teeth. Implants provide a sturdy foundation for permanent or removable teeth that our dentist creates to match a patient’s natural teeth. Dental implants offer a number of advantages for patients, such as:

  • Improved appearance – Dental implants look and feel just like a patient’s natural teeth. Since they are fabricated to fuse with a patient’s jaw, they become permanently fixed.
  • Improved speech – Patients who suffer from wearing ill-fitting dentures can have their teeth shift within the mouth causing them to slur or mumble their words. Dental implants allow patients to speak without worry.
  • Better comfort – Because dental implants become fused with a patient’s bone structure, they eliminate the discomfort many patients experience from wearing removable dentures.
  • Improved self-esteem – Dental implants can restore a patient’s smile and his or her confidence.
  • Durable – Implants are incredibly durable, and can last a lifetime when combined with quality care.
