Regardless of how damaged your teeth have become, you can still have your teeth restored. However, the options that are available and the degree to which your old teeth will be replaced by prosthetics is based on the degree to which your teeth have decayed.

From speaking, to chewing, to maintain overall proper tooth alignment, every tooth in your mouth plays an important role in your overall life. It may not be a given that your experience tooth loss as you age, but if you do start to lose teeth, it is important that you replace them in order to maintain full and proper mouth function. Thankfully, there are many options that provide a solution to the problem of tooth loss.

Root Canals

At one time, root canals were a dreaded process among patients. These days, a root canal really isn’t so bad and it has become a very common procedure. It is estimated that over 15 million people in the United States get a root canal each year.

Dental Bonding

Dental bonding is a method that used when tooth-colored resin material, which is sturdy plastic, is administered on a tooth and hardened with a light. This will cause the material to bond to the tooth, which will result in an improved and restored smile.

Dental Veneers

Dental veneers are rapidly becoming more and more commonplace. They, in short, are narrow customized shells that conceal teeth. The goal behind veneers is to make the teeth look better. Dental professionals attach them to teeth to adjust length, size, shape and color.

Crowns Any patient’s dentistry goal is to be able to have work done that looks and feels natural. With modern technology, there are many ways to fix or improve your teeth; crowns being one of them. When done by a talented dentist, crowns can offer patients a fulfilling, beautiful smile.

Inlays and Onlays

These dental items are sometimes called “indirect fillings” and they are often used as an alternative to dental crowns. These fillings are a less invasive way to repair decay and damage on a given tooth. They strengthen and improve the appearance of the tooth and they can be made from porcelain, resin or gold.

“Periodontics” refers to a type of dentistry that focuses on all matters that pertain to tooth structures. If you suspect that you have any problems that involve tooth structures, the assistance of a periodontist may be essential. Periodontists are experienced dental professionals who are highly skilled in non-surgical, laser and traditional periodontics treatment options.

Gum Grafting

If an individual notices that a few of his or her teeth may look longer or experiences tooth sensitivity to hot or cold foods, then the indiviudal’s gums may be receding. When gums start to recede, there is a fraction of the tooth’s root that is exposed. When an individual has gum recession, it can appear out of no where because it happens slowly. Gum grafting can be an effective treatment for individuals with receding gums because it can help counter further loss of gum tissue.

Cosmetic Periodontal Surgery

Many individuals want to improve the appearance of their smile. In some cases, a person is able to undertake some basic procedures like teeth whitening to improve his or her appearance.

Reduction Surgery

Osseous, which is often called gingivectomy or pocket reduction surgery, is a type of surgery that is done to get to the root of the tooth in order to remove any bacteria or tartar.

Horrible bedside manner

1.0/ 5

This man is totally paranoid and a very frightened man based on no science at all. He had his office including himself gang up on a senior with grave PTSD and autism while no one was in the waiting room to witness yet he told another practitioner that people were in the office so he lies too…..He made outrageous suggestions like a mouth piece to change the structure of a mouth with a jaw that has osteoporosis……this is a grave mistake and he wanted the money only….no one touches a jaw where there is osteoporosis especially to try and change the structure…..all the teeth would fall out…..he has no bedside manner because he is such a frightened man and his Oralase which is supposed to treat PTSD and anxiety of autism is $400 for 15 minutes…..this man is a menace as a dentist and I would never recommend him to anyone especially if you are old and filled with anxiety…..He is a narcissist of the greatest kind too and his work is only average….
