Dental Implants

Dental implants have become the standard of care in restoring lost teeth. When missing teeth are not replaced, the neighboring teeth shift and supererupt, often causing food traps, unstable bites, gum disease, and new cavities. Implants help maintain the bone around them, while restoring your ability to chew just like you could prior to losing the tooth.

Dr. Jeff is an expert in cosmetic implant therapy and full arch implant reconstructions. Whether you would like to replace a single missing tooth, help retain a denture, or pursue an implant rehabilitation to completely transform your smile and restore your ability to eat the foods that you want.

Dentures

In some cases, teeth may not be able to be saved, and dentures are the only option. This doesn’t mean that all is lost! Well fitting dentures can restore your smile and allow you to chew again!

For patients who desire more retention or chewing strength, implants are a great option to make dentures less bulky, more comfortable, and easier to wear.

Wisdom Tooth Extractions

Wisdom teeth rarely grow in correctly and are often very difficult to keep clean. For most people, wisdom teeth do not fit in the mouth, often contributing to crowding, gum disease, and jaw pain. They are also significantly easier and safer to remove before the roots are fully formed, significantly reducing the incidence of dry socket or nerve injury. As a result, we recommend having wisdom teeth out early, often in the teenage years.

Sedation

Coming to the dentist can make some patients very nervous. Studies show that 92% of patients have some sort of dental anxiety.  Whether it is due to a bad experience in the past, lack of trust, or just general anxiety, we are confident that we can ease your fears at our office. Dr. Jeff and his team are experts at making both kids and adults feel comfortable during treatment.

For patients who need a little bit of extra help to become comfortable, Dr. Jeff is one of only 1% of dentists in the country who offer Oral Conscious Sedation (OCS) at the office. Patients are given a combination of oral sedatives and nitrous oxide (laughing gas) until they are comfortable in the chair. This is a very safe and effective way to complete your treatment while limiting pain, anxiety, and even gagging.

Root Canal Therapy

Root canals have gotten a terrible reputation over the years. The treatment that was once associated with pain has become much gentler and more predictable with technological advancements over the years. It is usually the least traumatic and most conservative way to treat infected teeth or irreversible nerve pain.

During a root canal, the nerve and any underlying infection is removed from the tooth. While there may be some post-operative soreness, the nerve pain that most patients come in with resolves almost immediately after treatment.
