Q How can integrative medicine help me?

Initial appointments with a physician are usually one hour long, so the practitioner is able to listen and get a thorough history of your health status. The physician may order specialty lab tests to discover the underlying root cause of your health issues so that it can be addressed appropriately. Our on-site lab provides many of these specialty lab tests, genetic testing, and has a LabCorp draw station. The treatment plan will be tailored to you for whole-body wellness.

Q What does integrative medicine offer for chronic health conditions such as pain or disease?

Medical studies and opinion polls agree that conventional medicine may be incomplete for understanding and addressing chronic health problems, which are increasing at an alarming rate. Chronic health conditions may take a toll on the physical, psychological, and emotional wellbeing of the individual. We strive to find the underlying causes of the symptoms rather than suppress them. Programs aimed at supporting the body with detoxification and revitalization help to alleviate symptoms of many conditions such as auto-immune diseases, chronic fatigue, allergies, chronic pain, hormonal imbalances, metabolic disorders, and other chronic conditions, while the body is supported toward improved and optimal health.

Q How can integrative medicine help maintain good health and function as we age?

Based on advanced and functional lab testing, we are able to find the (potential) weaknesses in a healthy person and to design preventive protocols to bring about optimal health. These might include lifestyle modifications, nutrition advice as well as therapeutic interventions and therapies for detoxification, rejuvenation, and stress management. Disease prevention and/or maintenance regimens are done customized to the patient with long term health as the goal.

Q How much is an appointment?

A dental visit can range from $145 for a general teeth cleaning to thousands for complex dental work, veneers or zirconia implants. Our philosophy is to do the least invasive procedure possible and to preserve as much natural tooth structure as we can, as we have found this to be better for our patient's overall health.

A medical visit ranges from $395-$750 depending on the doctor, complexity of the visit and time spent with the patient. For complex medical issues, expect a 60-90 minute initial appointment
