Dental Implants :
As a periodontist, Dr. Toffler can surgically place dental implants, drastically improving the lives of his patients. Dental implants can replace a single tooth, multiple teeth or secure a bridge or dentures. They are the most successful method of tooth replacement.
In some cases, patients can get the same benefits of a standard length (≥ 10 mm) implant with a shorter post, called a short dental implant. Most implant posts are at least 10 mm in length or longer and short ones are usually between 6 and 8 mm. These may be placed in areas with low jaw bone height and help a patient avoid more invasive bone grafting procedures such as ridge or sinus augmentation.
The advantages of short dental implants are many: less treatment, less postoperative discomfort, expedited healing and lower cost! Dr. Toffler carefully evaluates who may benefit from short dental implants and he provides excellent placement that can be completed with a beautiful and strong restoration.
Dr. Toffler can also perform advanced procedures for patients with insufficient bone volume or other complications. You deserve a beautiful, comfortable and complete smile!
