Dr. Mabe graduated from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry in 1990 and established his private practice in the Midwest, focusing on all aspects of general and cosmetic dentistry for adults and children. He has taken many “hands on” intensive continuing education courses over the past several decades, domestically and internationally to enhance his clinical skills and knowledge. Paul and his family have vacationed seasonally in Naples for the past 20 years. It has been their dream, as their daughters started college, to move to Naples full time and practice dentistry. Dr. Mabe and his wife, Yvette enjoy working together. Yvette has been a Dental Hygienist for 28 years.

Serving the underserved around the world has been a hallmark of Dr. Mabe’s professional career. Since 1990 he has traveled to places like Ecuador, Panama, Costa Rica, and the Dominican Republic offering thousands of hours of free dentistry to children who live in orphanages, and people who would otherwise not be able to afford dental care.

You Can Restore Your Smile With Zirconium Dental Implants

Dental implants are prosthetic teeth. They are specially designed to replace both the root and the crown of your tooth to give you a long-lasting solution for your smile. Dental implants are designed to look, feel, and function just like your natural teeth, and aid in maintaining your facial contours as well as restoring your smile. Your implant consists of two main parts – an implant post and an implant restoration.

The implant post is typically made of titanium, and is surgically placed in your jawbone. At Naples Family Dentist, we also offer Zirconium implants as an alternative for patients with greater sensitivity or who have a metal allergy. Zirconium implant posts are tooth-colored, biocompatible, and promote exceptional osseointegration with a precise connection between the implant and the crown. Zirconium implants are the 100% metal free solution for patients looking for a natural reconstruction in terms of aesthetics, tolerability, and longevity. The are strong, safe, corrosion resistant, and do not conduct heat or electricity.

RESTORATIVE DENTISTRY

Dr. Paul Mabe can provide you with restorative dentistry to repair the damage and restore your teeth to a beautiful and fully functional condition. Our dentist will thoroughly evaluate your mouth to determine which restorative treatments will be most beneficial for you, and develop an individualized treatment plan to help you achieve your oral health and smile goals.

We are pleased to offer high-quality restorative dentistry at our practice. Restorative dentistry is a specific branch of dentistry that is focused on restoring the health and function of your smile following tooth damage, tooth decay or tooth loss. We offer a number of restorative dental options to meet your individual dental needs. Whether you are missing one tooth, several teeth or all of your teeth, we are here to provide you with the restorative dentistry solutions you need. We also offer options for restoring significantly decayed or damaged teeth

ORAL SURGERY

Dr. Paul Mabe provides oral surgery to correct more complex problems in your mouth and jaw, and to ensure that you receive the best results possible from your treatments. We may recommend oral surgery to correct a problem, or as preparation for a future treatment.

Oral surgery includes a number of surgical dental treatments. The goal of oral surgery is to improve the function, health and appearance of your smile and the surrounding structures, such as your jaw. In many cases, we strive to provide the most conservative treatment possible. However, oral surgery may be necessary to correct certain conditions and improve your oral and overall health. Oral surgery may include:

  • Tooth extraction (for teeth that are decayed, damaged or infected to the point that an effective restoration is impossible)
  • Wisdom teeth removal (for wisdom teeth that are impacted or have grown in at an incorrect angle)
  • Jaw surgery (to treat a TMJ disorder, correct uneven jaw growth or improve the fit of dentures)
  • Bone grafts (to increase bone density or improve the chances for a successful dental implant)
