Dr. Whiting. I grew up in Arizona where I attended and completed both my undergraduate and graduate degrees at ASU Engineering college and Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine. I have been practicing for almost 7 years and have enjoyed every bit of it!

I was initially encouraged to pursue dentistry by my orthodontist and I believe she gave me the best advice I’ve ever received. 7 ‘short’ years later, I graduated from dental school. My focus and interest have always been health and beauty and in dentistry, I am thankful I get to help my patients with both. My core values have always been in sync with biological dentistry’s core principles so it is with relief I can finally and fully practice what I believe in. Health is complex, and I have made it a priority to understand the puzzle so I can make my patient’s health picture clear to them.

What are Dental Implants?

Dental implants are a trusted and durable solution for replacing a single tooth, multiple teeth or an entire arch. They are a popular and long-term solution to restore lost function and return your beautiful smile. The doctors at Dental Therapy in Phoenix, AZ are experts in placing dental implants.

Implants function and look just like a real teeth. They work by inserting a titanium screw which acts like the root into the jaw bone, providing a stable, permanent foundation. It is then completed with a crown, bridge or a denture.

Once the implant is healed it will provide the same biting force as your original teeth and can last a lifetime with proper care and maintenance.

Placing Your Dental Implants:

We use the latest modern 3D imaging technology to measure your bone density and to map the exact dimensions of your jaw. This provides the details for the location, depth and angle to place your implant. Once the implant is in place your crown will be customized to resemble your surrounding teeth. With your new implant and crown you’ll be able chew food like before your implant and of course you will have a big smile once again!

Caring for your Dental Implants :

After you have received your final restoration and your dental implant procedure is complete we will continue to monitor your new implant. If by chance your dental implant becomes damaged or worn down, we will restore it to it’s proper standard. You will need to provide proper hygiene and make regular dental visits so we may ensure your implant lasts a lifetime.
