Dr. Thomas Colpitts, DDS, ND, IMD Claimed

Dr. G. Thomas Colpitts, DDS, ND, IMD Doctor of Integrative Medicine Accredited member of IAOMT. Dr. G. Thomas Colpitts holds a BS from the University of Tulsa and a DDS from Washington University at St. Louis.After dental school, Dr. Colpitts enlisted in the US Army and served for two years. His second year was served in Vietnam at the height of the war, first with the 25th Infantry Division near Cu Chi, then with the 3rd Marine Division north of DaNang. He was awarded the Bronze Star for his service.

Dr. Colpitts then pursued a naturopathic degree at the renowned Capital University of Integrative Medicine in Washington, DC. Simply, he wanted to better understand the body in its relationship to the mouth. At Capital, he studied with MDs, DOs, DCs, and dentists from all over the US and Europe. It was where the best and brightest in holistic health met, taught, and learned. After his graduation, Dr. Colpitts was asked to head its dental department. So he traveled monthly to Washington for six years, teaching professionals about biologic dentistry.
